fringe frenzy

shirt: Goodwill/pants: H&M/ shoes: Minnetonka/ triangle necklace: Forever 21/ fringe vest: Spins

Hello! Today I went out with a dear friend. We ate tacos at Taco Bell (I had the Mexican pizza-I used to not like Taco Bell very much and I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican food, but I'm starting to enjoy it more!) Afterwards, we walked to a local coffee shop and ordered a nice pot of Green Destiny tea to sip while we chatted for hours on end. Today's outfit was casual but fun. I love my new fringe vest. I have been looking forever for a vest like this when I found this one in Japan for only a dollar!!! My shirt was also just a dollar from Goodwill. I cut and bleached this awesome AC/DC band tee to make it more fit for me. My bag was a lovely gift from my friend from when she visited India. Well, I hope everyone had a nice day! Drink green tea and be happy! x

candy colored hair so sweet

Before you freak out, no my hair is not actually teal. I edited my hair to see what it would look like with teal hair. It's so out there and I love the color! But this isn't completely new territory for me, I used to have teal colored ends, but my hair was getting very long and so I chopped it all of before summer started. However, for some reason I realized that I don't have a single picture from that time. I used to have ombre hair as well and slightly red tinted hair from henna. I love colored hair and I would like to play around with my hair again... I think it's the perfect way to change up your look and it's the least permanent way possible. You can always just dye it back or cut it. Besides now is the perfect time to do it. Last night I dyed the ends of sister's hair cotton candy/strawberry pink. It looks very cute. Although it's more messy and not always the way you want it to look, dying your hair at home is much much more cheaper than at the salons! It only cost me about $15! Anyways, I loove colored hair!! So what do you think about this look? Should I actually dye it for real? Haha

vivid floral

The outfit is all mainly from Japan. The translucent striped socks are from a cute sock shop called Tutuana. I am planning on posting a short socks collection since my sister and I went crazy in that store, having never seen such a wide assortment of unique socks for SUCH cheap prices. It was amazing! The dress I purchased at a thrift shop in Harajuku. I love the vivid and bright colors of the dress. But what caught my attention most were the collars. I am absolutely obsessed with collars. Lastly, the platform mary janes are my sister's. We pretty much share our closets. Perks of having a sister... on the downside we steal things without asking. haha. Hope everyone is having a great summer!! xxxooo

vintage lovers' heaven

Look at all these adorable vintage stores! I was assigned to write a piece for my school newspaper about all the local unique stores in town that many people may not know about. BEST HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT EVER! Anyways, I love thrift stores. My number one advice to finding a one-of-a-kind piece is to look in antique stores!! Sometimes you can find really cool pieces. Also just look around in your town. Trust me, if my town has any cool stores,so does yours. That shady place in the corner of town? It might surprise you. Ever since, I have been on a hunt for shops like these in my town. Now i have a list of my to-go places I love going to that no one knows about. Haha... I literally went crazy in these stores. ome also have really cute interior designs. Some great inspirations for rooms. One of the boutiques even offered to display my photos... for free! She was a very nice woman and even helped me put together an outfit inspired by Daisy Buchanan for a Gatsby party at school. All such fun.

film set 1

A film set from over the last few years of some random photos I took. This is the last post of the day I promise! I had all these photo sets stored from a while back and just decided to upload and post them all now so I can start fresh. I am planning on taking pictures with two of my very good friends, one of them being a great photographer and just sitting down to a hot steaming cup of tea. So that shall be fun. I iwll continue posting my photography... new ones! yay! and my outfits. I know that I have mainly been posting my photography, but I really want the main focus for this blog to be fashion and my outfits/style. But I am so very happy to be able to share so much of what inspires me everyday.
Good night! xo

en garde

Some photos from my fencing class. i probably looked like a complete creeper peaking through the doors and climbing on top of window sills shooting through the blinds. Anyways, fencing is a great sport. not only does it require physical energy, but it takes some brain power. A great exercise indeed.
