futuristic

Usually I'm behind the lens but it was such an honor to have posed for one of my talented and gorgeous photographer friend, Marie Meister. During my stay in France she took us to an incredible abandoned mansion where we made the setting of our shoot.

the moon's first lover

My lovely and talented friend Natalia and I recorded our first original song. The song is called "The Moon's First Lover" and is written and sung by me. Then Natalia with her magical guitar skills created a beautiful melody to go along with the song and edited the video. Subscribe to Natalia's youtube channel to see her beautiful guitar covers.
Here are the lyrics to the song:

I am the moon's first lover
don't let me go
we drank some earl grey
and talked about our dreams and fears
of the treasures we have lost in space

Please don't kill the white rabbit
or the hidden face
we danced to sad tunes
and forgot about the stars and clouds
as we twirled till' the morning sun

Darling, you're so magical
oh, take me home tonight
can you feel this silence in the air
I think I found you

We are the moon's first lover
I'm so afraid
we peeled fresh apricots
and drew our swords to slit our throats
pouring out like crimson red

Our bodies turned into dust
in the dark night sky
we became little stars
and shined down on the lonely world
so brightly I could still see you

Darling, you're so magical
oh, take me home tonight
can you feel this silence in the air
I think I found you

honey moon and night drives

On Friday the 13th, I slept over at a friend's house. We went on one of our routine night drives with the music playing so loud it muffled our singing voices. Whenever we go on night drives, we just aimlessly drive in the dark and usually end up on the highway or the country roads where we roll down our windows and scream...night drives are the one thing that makes me feel free and alive. They keep me sane. That night, was the "Honey Moon." The moon was so gold, round, and close and big. My friend and I both are speechless as we pull over the car and just take in the glorious aura of the moon. Apparently no one has seen a honey moon in the last 100 years. It was the one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen...I don't know if I will ever see another honey moon, but I engraved the sight into my memory so as to never forget. Once we drove home, we grabbed some blankets and went to the nearby hill and sat at the top at midnight and just basked in the light of the moon. The empty aqua pool made slushing sounds and gave off a fuzzy glow. It was tempting not to climb over the fence and swim in the moonlit water.

some photos during my trip to France. I had the most lovely time in the beautiful country and re-met and met for the first time with the most fun, loving, open, and crazy beautiful people... I'll never forget the memories I made there and I hope that my summer ends as magically as it started.
